Patron and Director
Rebecca Hossack
The Director of galleries in central London and Miami, Rebecca Hossack was born in Melbourne in 1955. Following degrees in Law and in History of Art, Hossack studied at Christie’s and at The Guggenheim in Venice. She set up her own gallery in Windmill Street, Fitzrovia, in March 1988. From 1993-7, Hossack served as the Australian cultural attaché in London. Hossack was the first Conservative Councillor in Bloomsbury for over 20 years, during which time she ran the New York Marathon to raise £20,000 to plant trees in central London. She also writes regularly in the national press and lectures internationally on Aboriginal art. She has worked closely with the British Museum, the Barbican Centre, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Horniman Museum and the De Young Museum in San Francisco. Hossack also campaigns to preserve rock art in Western Australia’s Burrup peninsula.

Daniel Bates
Daniel Bates (MA CANTAB, FRSM, FTCL, ARAM, AGSMD) is principal oboe with the Irish Chamber Orchestra, the City of London Sinfonia and co-principal oboe of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. Previously, he also held the principal oboe position with the Royal Northern Sinfonia at the Sage, Gateshead. He has played guest principal for all the major UK orchestras as well as various international orchestras such as the National Orchestra of Colombia, the Swedish Chamber Orchestra, the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and the West Australian Symphony Orchestra. As a session musician he has recorded for numerous pop acts and films, including the Harry Potter franchise and for Barbra Streisand, Mary J Blige, Rihanna and Stevie Wonder.

Jesse Brown
Jesse Brown is an artist, illustrator & cartoonist from London, England. Working predominantly in ink and watercolour, Jesse observes little moments in daily life, quirky scenes and slightly startled animals caught in the act of going about their business. Jesse is a fellow of the RSA and a member of the Association of Illustrators.

Faye scott
Faye Scott is a Gallery Associate at the Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery and has a B.A in Fine Art, Drawing from Camberwell College of Arts. Faye is passionate about community and engaging in arts and culture.
Digital Producer
Emil Poniente
Emil is a content creator and videographer with several years of experience in crafting compelling visual stories. He specialises in producing engaging social media videos, event recaps and talking head videos. He has worked within the sports fashion market for various retailers and brands where his creativity and technical ability was able to develop. Passionate about storytelling, he takes pride in delivering high-quality content that resonates with audiences and communicates a visual journey.
